In modern society , the information is essential , in order to meet the desire of the people of the flow of information and exchange , the computer is connected to the network, in order to communicate to each other and exchange information . Today , the development of the Internet Internet , to promote extensive application of multimedia technology in the network , and multimedia technologies become more mature . With the requirements of multimedia applications on the popularity of Linux systems and Linux systems highlights the development of a networked video playback system based on the Linux system scalability become an urgent problem . This article is designed a networking video playback system , networked playback of the video file . Can achieve video file to update . The system is based on the Linux operating system . This system is running clear and smooth video screen , basically meet the demand for the release of the video information . The system architecture using C / S mode ( client / server mode ) , to facilitate the expansion and use of the system . Process , the first client to adopt their own customized Linux operating system LFS development on this system . Client and server to establish a socket connection , sends its own ID number to register and then request download playlists using the md5 technology to determine whether the playlist update the playlist as an XML format playlist has been updated , download playlists to the local otherwise, do not download . Client playlist parsing playlist files stored in the read video file to download ftp server address , and then establish a connection and ftp server , download video files , to design their own video player module is called to play . Which player sent to the server and stored in the server-side database task management platform . To be played video files uploaded to the ftp server management platform . The management platform is a separate module , and a server communication for task management . The system in the client successfully achieve decoding playback of the video file .
