Power plays an important role in the sustainable development of the national economy as a pillar of energy . In China , the grid technology is moving high - voltage , high-capacity, inter-regional , the direction of the grid development. For to overcome power enterprises are facing a variety of pressure and meet new challenges , electricity companies want through the integration of data resources , optimize the structure of enterprise data , the effective allocation of corporate resources , so as to enhance business efficiency and cost control . A long time, the electricity enterprise resource lack of unified planning , among information systems difficult to interact with each other , information resources can not be shared , greatly obstruct the process of power enterprise information . Out of this predicament , the first power enterprise data integration applications consistent understanding of the semantics of the information exchanged , namely the establishment of a common information model for enterprise-wide unified . By the theories and methods of research information modeling object-oriented thinking and metadata modeling theory , developed a set of theories and methods of establishing common information model for China's power enterprises , corresponding modeling steps and principles , and applied in practice . First of all, start from the background and status of the power of enterprise information , the necessity of power information modeling , clear research meaning . Then , the mainstream approach to information modeling study comparing focuses on object-oriented modeling and the Unified Modeling Language ( UML ) . Metadata and meta-model , a clear the four organizational level of the metadata modeling . And by studying the existing international power industry common information model ( CIM ) , CIM is a meta- data model . Then , the reference CIM and power industry standards and specifications, combined with the actual demand of China's electric power enterprise asset management , object-oriented corporate assets for electricity meta data the extended modeling practice , including the transformer equipment and line equipment . Meanwhile, relational database design model , depending on the application to establish the appropriate boundary view . Verified by an example of the model has strong scalability and versatility . Finally, a summary of the research work , and prospect follow-up .
