Abstract


Hair modeling and simulation related to all aspects of computer graphics technology , has important research value , with the continuous development of computer application technology , the increasingly wide range of applications , and has played in the field of computer animation , electronic games , film and television production important role. 3D hair modeling and simulation studies, mainly to complete the work of the following four aspects : First, read dxf format head model data exported from Poser and processing to eliminate duplicate storage of vertex ; adopt key the premise point method will head mesh model is divided into the area of hair growth and non- growth area ; mesh simplification and hair growth area , reducing the mesh vertices and triangular faces , which does not affect the display effect , reducing the computation improved simulation speed . Second, the data points generated by the inverse of the B-spline curve algorithm cantilever model backcalculation thus obtained control vertices , use deBoor-Cox algorithm to simulate key hair curve ; ridge key hair , B-spline The curve for the cross-section curves , the use of masked algorithm to generate hair cluster . B-spline method of hair modeling in shape is easy to adjust and control the generated key hair and hair clusters . Third, the integrated use of α diagrams and color mixing method defines hair texture , and use texture mapping to render the hair . Fourth, Visual C 6.0 platform programming using OpenGL technology , computer simulation of the proposed algorithm , the experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of the algorithm .
