Abstract


With a computer and software to expand the range of applications in people's lives , the quality of the software problem gradually attracted people's attention . Software reliability is an important attribute of software quality . As software reliability software reliability model quantitatively assess the technical core technology for the improvement of software quality , the reasonable control of the software development process as well as the effective management of resources provides a quantitative and objective basis , and thus has the important academic value of research and engineering applications . Theoretical research , starting from the basic theory of software reliability , to elaborate software reliability models preselection process , from the model assumptions , the basic formula , parameter derivation has been studied in a typical three - class model of random model , selection principle of performance metrics . In practical application , the paper designs completed a software reliability evaluation based on failure data tools . The tool embedded in three types of reliability models , the four main functions , including data management function , failure data trend analysis , reliability assessment function and the prediction accuracy of the analysis function . Although in many domestic and foreign software reliability analysis tools , but most of them ignore the trend analysis of failure data and analysis of the accuracy of the prediction function . Therefore, the evaluation tools to achieve this is also the biggest difference with other reliability analysis tools . Finally, the combination of the actual collection of data on the above four functions instance validation , the results show that the more complete the evaluation tools used , evaluate the prediction results more credible , has good practicality .
