Abstract


In this paper, after analyzing the architecture of the platform software JS (Job scheduler) and studying the automated testing technique, a kind of regression automated testing tool is designed and implemented.The entire design scheme of the tool is presented first in this paper, and then the paper analyzed the test points which is fit for doing the automatic test, and divided the test cases with the method of equivalence partition, introduced the accomplishing method of the tool at last. In the section of the accomplishing method, the paper introduced the feature of the test engine and its principle, the principle of the log system. The JS has two kind of test cases, so two plans were used in the paper, they are single script structure template and keyword-driven technique, the paper also described their principle in detail. Single script structure template technique was designed for the complicated testing cases; every testing case has a testing script. Keyword driven technique separated the testing script from the testing data, thus a single testing script can operate various testing cases.The test for the jsRegtest has been passed on the entire platform that JS supports successfully. The tool reduced the repetitiveness that the QA must do before, improved the test efficiency and achieved positive test results.
