Abstract


Visualization of a technical graphics and imaging equipment to extract important information from the volume data , direct volume rendering is an important means to achieve body visualization technology , and are mainly used for scientific and medical applications generated data . The transfer function for direct volume rendering results is essential , it is mainly for those who need to visualize the original data values ??given optical properties , such as color and opacity . Under normal circumstances , however , very difficult to find a suitable transfer function . Therefore , accurate , fast generation of transfer functions is a challenging subject . This article , based on the the voxel location information obtained from the color histogram , Firstly, based on trial and error 1D and 2D transfer function design ; Second, given the tedious process to find the transfer function based data model automatic transfer function generation algorithm ; Finally, for the automatic generation of transfer functions to calculate the amount of the larger problem , this paper to take advantage of the GPU 's powerful computing capabilities , and improve the performance of the algorithm . CT and MRI data verify the effectiveness of the automatic transmission function and real-time .
