Abstract


With the rapid development of network technology , the network has penetrated into every aspect of people's lives and work , influence and change people's pace of life and work . More and more users access the network as well as an increasingly diverse business needs to make a variety of network equipment must provide adequate throughput , in this context , the traditional processors become increasingly powerless . The multi-core processors with its strong data forwarding performance , complex business processing capabilities , the advantage of a simple and efficient development environment is increasingly gaining the favor of the people . With the continuous development of the multi-core era and multi-core applications , many functional modules of the network operating system needs to make the appropriate adjustments to adapt to the needs of the multi-core environments . The article describes the tuning and performance optimization of the network operating system platform memory management in multi - core environments , as well as multi-core memory management a typical application -UTM multi-core multi-system shared memory management algorithm research and design . In this paper, the presence of concurrent access conflicts in multi-core memory allocation , shared Cache failure and nuclear debris characteristics , combined with the the platform memory management algorithm and multi-core architecture , design platform the multicore memory management algorithm ; small memory allocation when memory usage lower designed Simple memory allocation algorithms ; proprietary data structures frequently used in the system , the design of the the multicore memory pool management algorithm , the purpose is to improve the memory utilization and reduce memory fragmentation ; combination of frames of the Linux system management algorithm and UTM products needs , carried out the design and realization of the multi-core multi-system shared memory management algorithm , to provide access to business interactions between multiple system . The first chapter of this paper describes the background of the project ; second chapter introduces the multi-core technology , multi-system and multi-core technology ; Chapter detailed analysis of the Linux memory management algorithms and existing the platform memory management algorithm ; Chapter IV is designed for the needs of multi-core systems memory management algorithms and multi-core multi-system shared memory management algorithm ; Chapter of paper memory management algorithm tested , the test results show that the correctness of the design ; Chapter summary of the thesis and further outlook .
