Abstract


In today's information age , the computer has become an important tool for people to process and store information , at the same time information security by more and more attention . Usually store the user's computer hard disk as external memory information . This information relates to personal privacy , trade secrets , state secrets , if the hard disk is lost or others steal will lead to a series of major issues . Hard disk encryption card is based FPGA hardware design of the physical layer on the hard disk data protection device on the IDE bus transmit data encryption and decryption operations . In this paper, the IDE hard disk interface works agreement , read and write timing , as well as data encryption , the basic principles of the basis of the research , a design based on NIOS soft-core processor , the SOPC system hard disk data encryption . Specific design and research work are as follows : ( 1) hard disk encryption card system design ; (2 ) to build the entire encryption system of hardware and software platforms and debugging environment , and system specific implementation of the various functional modules are introduced ; (3 ) to complete the design of the IDE interface hard disk encryption card , meet Ultra DMA and PIO transfer mode ; ( 4 ) to study hard disk encryption key management scheme card , alternative cryptographic algorithm and mode of operation ; (5) SATA hard drive interface and preliminary design ;
