Abstract


In this paper,1548 lungs of pigs were obtained that a total of 2009.3-2010.6 collected on the three slaughterhouses in Changsha. In order to investigate the parasite infection rate of pigs slaughtered for investigation. The results were mainly as following:1. Via a careful inspection,1025 lungworm were got from 1548 pigs lung. The infection rate of swine lungworm was 20.8%(323/1548)2. In this survey, slaughterhouse Wulipai、Hongxing and Heishipai slaughterhouse prevalence of lungworm are as follows:18.7%(138/736).28.3%(98/346)和18.6% (87/466)3. Via parasitology morphology identification, all of the infected Swine lungworm were identified to be Metastrongyloidaeand and M.pudendotectus. The infection rate of Metastrongyloidaeand 23.1%(98/346) and that ofM.pudendotectus5.7%(20/346) were both the highest in the Wulipai slaughterhouse and Heishipu slaughterhouse, respectively.4. Total DNA was extracted from lungworm including Metastrongyloidaeand and M.pudendotectus from different geographical origins. The partial regions of the mitochondrial DNA genes, namely partial cytochrome c oxidase subunit (pcoxl) was amplified separately from individual lungworm by PCR and were subjected to sequencing in order to find sequence differences. While the intra-specific sequence variations within each of the three were less than 3.3% for pcoxl, the inter-specific differences were significantly higher, being less than 3% for pcoxl. In the partial regions of the mitochondrial DNA genes, the coxl had lower variability. The firsthand and detailed data about Swine lungworm infections of detailed information in Changsha was gained via this survey. It must be a fine principle basement for the control in the region Swine lungworm.
