Abstract

Eucommia ulmoides (Eucommia ulmodies Oliver) is the Eucommia Ke Du Chung-genus, the economic species endemic to China, it is both the beautiful green plant a tree, have high economic value. In this paper the different salt concentration (NaClw, / v) solution culture method as a control species, peach (Prunus persica Batsch) carried out some basic research, both from the microscopic structure and physiological and biochemical indexes of Eucommia salt resistance . Microstructure observations show that The Eucommia seedlings grown in saline habitats in the structure has the following characteristics: (1) leaves: epidermal cells thick cuticle, the next the stomata room, tightly packed cells, neat, helps to reduce transpiration. A clear bubble-like structure, these bubble-like structure located in the center of the cell, some directly connected with the plasma membrane, and even integration between membrane structure constitutes a form of efflux in mesophyll palisade tissue cells. (2) stem: of Eucommia stems cortex cells in the innermost layer of the inclusions, the most of the starch granules, these substances can improve the osmotic pressure of the cell, is conducive to the absorption of moisture and maintain. Eucommia and peach trees under the physiological and biochemical indicators will be measured at different salt concentrations, the results show that: with the increase in the intensity of salt stress, Eucommia and the peach tree membrane permeability increases, ... content of Na and Cl ... - content were tested increasing trend and the peach increase significantly greater than Eucommia; two plants proline are first and then decreased, showing a single peak curve, but gutta-Pro were significantly higher than the peach; the Eucommia soluble sugar in the low salt concentration higher than that of the control plants peach, peach sugar content increased significantly in the high salt concentration, the Eucommia stabilized; chlorophyll and carotenoid content in the test salinity range of was waveform changes, and Eucommia and peach peak - valley correspondence; MDA content of both the contrary, the MDA content in the peach tree is much higher than Eucommia; different concentrations under salt stress Eucommia has a high hydrogen peroxide activity, peach always gentle; the two species K ~~ / Na ~ no significant difference in different salinity. Various physiological and biochemical indicators carried out correlation analysis, results show that: the membrane permeability and MDA content was certain negative related, was positively correlated with the accumulation of Pro; Pro content of the increase and over-oxidation product MDA's cumulative showed a negative correlation, and chlorophyll content was negatively correlated or highly significant negative correlation; soluble sugar content and membrane permeability showed significant or highly significant positive correlation. Eucommia and peach trees the same physiological indicators of salt stress on Measurement and Analysis of the results showed that: 1, the adaptability of plants to saline in addition to genetic characteristics, may also have different ways, different plants in different or the same conditions not necessarily through the same channels to resist the effects of saline. 2, through a variety of indicators composite measure of Eucommia has a certain salt resistance and salt tolerance in many ways stronger than peach.
