Abstract


Existing home DIY self-help systems is always for ordinary household consumers. But, for the home user’s display and sale, the more important thing is to consider the household products manufacturer or distributor how to create and manage their own brands and create the whole concept of the home "network virtual shopping malls."In order to match the market demand, through a lot of market surveys and research, a set of WEB 3D based DIY home system is implemented. The system uses virtual reality technology to build the virtual home platform. Manufacturers, distributors and consumers can display products, plan apartment/home and estimate cost by Internet. The system uses the virtual goods and space model and network communications model to provide a brand new home user experience and consumption patterns to the vast number of consumers, and extend the displaying space for home industries and manufacturers. It relieves the great contradiction between the product line expansion and the display cost increasing, and rich and changed the traditional domestic industry marketing strategies and tools.The system is B / S architecture. It uses a number of key technologies, such as the X3D technology, 3 D modeling and texture mapping. It is designed to break through the bandwidth constraints of the application of difficulty, and give full consideration to the stability, ease-to-use.This paper introduces the system from the market demand, the structure design to the technology in detail.
