Abstract

According to the urbanization process accelerates and the rapid industrial development, Cities achieved rapid economic development but also faced a series of ecological and environmental issues, which seriously hampering the harmonious development of cities. How to promote the city’s ecological protection and improvement and how to effectively tackle the worsening problem of urban ecological environment now become a in dire need of a reality in the process of urbanization. Known as the "lung" of city, the urban forest has made great achievements in solving the city’s ecological construction. So, not only by the people of grave concern and had been entrusted Cultural Implications, it also has become the city’s important cultural specific carrier and one of the infrastructure. Developing urban forest business and expanding city forest culture has become an important topic and a new idea of city development. "Let the forest walk into the city, and the city embrace the forest" has become a symbol of culture and slogans. In order to effectively ease the contradictions of process of urbanization and human survival and development and strengthen the study of urban forest, to give Urban Forest cultural background has became a hot issue both in theoretical and professional research.Integrated current theoretical results, Urban forest culture has a more in-depth study in foreign countries, which already have a corresponding number of theoretical results. On the domestic,the study of urban forest culture is still on the stage of introducing and presenting the theoretical results abroad. In practice, the main work is only in the urban forest building, which have not yet risen to urban forest cultural construction. Therefore, it has great theoretical and practical significance for this paper to launch the urban forest cultural theory study.This article holds that the urban forest culture is a combination of urban forest and urban culture. As a product of the development of human civilization, urban city is the organic composition consist of economic, cultural, landscape and other elements of life. In the process of city’s sustainable development, as the soul of city, culture has always led it to the spiritual direction on the urban development and shown the unique characteristics of the urban quality. Urban forest culture s unique charm takes on the perfect combination of the cultural landscape and the natural landscape. This paper believes that the city has not only developed economy, good infrastructure and rich cultural background, in the full sense, but also have a comprehensive urban greening system. Strengthening the construction of Urban forest culture is a necessity to create suitable human living environment and city’s ecological environment, which is also the contemporary trend and the direction in the development of modern ecological city.On the macro background of building a harmonious society in China, a comprehensive understanding of the status and roles of urban forest culture and the reinforcing of theory and practice of it is required by the scientific concept of development. And it have great significance to the construction of modernization in China. Urban Forest culture is an important component of the urban culture and ecological civilization. Urban Forest is an important channel to raise quality and to improve the living conditions and to promote the harmonious development of the city. Urban forest is the most important channel of raising city taste, improving living conditions and promoting the harmonious development of city. Meanwhile, a solid theoretical foundation of urban forest culture has been established by traditional Confucian culture of China, western classical theory of urban development and modern development theory. Therefore, the construction of urban forest culture can be a powerful way to increase the quality of people’s life in urban cities and raise their core competitiveness.The innovation of this paper is reflected in the following aspects. Firstly, based in the study on the theory of forest culture、the construction of urban forest and urban forest culture both at home and abroad, the author made a systematic analysis on the Content, features, content and form of urban forest culture. Then, a series of principles about the construction of urban forest cultural system was proposed, such as people-oriented principle, the principle of maximizing the benefits, ecological principles, and the development principles. Urban forest cultural system should be constructed by the construction of urban forest parks, urban open space, scenic parks, urban forest products, old trees, urban forest theme, scientific bases in forest. Secondly, based on the analysis of current status of the construction of urban forest culture, the author found out a series of problems, and then appropriately forecasted the development trend of urban forest culture. Finally, with the construction of urban forest culture in Changsha City, a positive case was taken. The forest culture system which was Claimed as "Hill、Water、Island and City" verified that the construction of urban forest culture must be taken in reality, but be not blindly imitated with the atmosphere, avoid building all the cities in the same style. In recent years, focusing on the creation of national forest city, Changsha combined the human habitations、"Hill, water, Island and City" landscape and a profound historical and cultural background to construct a cultural City. In practice, urban construction has combined with the green building closely, so, a coordinated and green around urban forest system will be built. The process of the "Hill, Water, Island and City" mode was described in this paper and the basic framework and specific measures were also empirical analysised. The "Hill, Water, Island and City" culture system will provide a successful model in the field of the construction of urban forest culture in our country.
