Abstract


Investment fund is an investment method or investment system. Through trust investment method and under various supervisions pooling funds from investors having the same investment objectives, it is managed by professional fund management institutes under the principle of diversification. Investment fund is also an investment instrument. Investors share the profits and risks by buying fund shares. The organization of investment fund includes four parties investor, fund management company custodian and underwriter. Using theory&pratice as well as analyzing&concluding methods, this article studied investment funds as an industry to sort the regular development patterns and procedures of investment fund industry. According to the principles and requirements of WTO relating to the investment fund industry opening, the study emphasized on the existing problems and irregular operations of China’s investment industry, analyzed how WTO would affect the industry, and put forward the corresponding policy advice.
