Abstract

Since the reform and opening up, China's commercial banks has made great achievements, but there are still many problems. At present, the reform of state-owned commercial banks in China, the biggest problem is the high proportion of non-performing assets. In addition, China's commercial banks in the reform are not familiar with the market economy and trigger new problems, mainly in the banking, management, human resources, international awareness. China from foreign banks in the Western developed market economy, significantly better than the domestic commercial banks in all respects. The entry of foreign banks on the development of China's banking industry has both advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, the introduction of foreign banks can promote competition, improve efficiency, and the introduction of foreign banks also introduced advanced management methods and new financial products. On the other hand, foreign banks to enter the domestic commercial banks operating on the edge will give a huge impact. Should be noted that the opening up of the financial services industry is the development of a trend of international financial and, ultimately, our country will become a member of the WTO, the global financial services trade agreement will eventually apply to China. China's financial industry will further opening up, China's commercial banks will face fierce competition from foreign banks. With China's accession to WTO, Chinese banks as compared to the original competitive advantage for foreign banks will be lost. Then, Chinese banks should be how to meet the challenge? Finally, some suggestions to mid-term Chinese banks can meet the challenge, to grow and develop. This article is divided into three chapters. The second chapter is the development of foreign banks in China and China's financial describes the development of foreign banks and foreign banks into the financial impact on the Chinese economy.
