Abstract

Now the daily information on internet is increasing exponentially and all sorts of online information of huge amount is exerting a profound influence on people’s lives in their brand-new ways. This has confronted people with the main problem of mass data processing and storage. At present, there are still in a lot of shortage in educational resources. Educational resources are distrabuted unevenly, for example, educational resources are plentiful in prosperous coastal areas, however, educational resources are lacking in depressed inland areas,so the utilization of educational resources are very distinct in different areas, and educational resources can not be used efficiently and reasonable. For storing great deal of educational resources, not only increasing the cost of servers and storage devices, but also increasing the cost of maintaining and empolying technical person. It will expend more the cost of educational,so it will be hard to provide quick convenient and high C/P ratio services for users.Similarly, education knowledge, as a kind of network resources, is also widely distributed in the sites of different networks, the learners have also been faced with their pressing demand of more accurate and fast and easy search for the education knowledge they need in the vast scope of internet. With the rapid development of the network technology and the continuous rising of people’s need for efficient and distributed computing, new calculation models appear ceaselessly. "Cloud computing", a new kind of distributed and efficient computing models, has attracted the public attention.“Cloud computing”can be thought as a revolutionary innovation, since it allows the user to use computing resources more efficiently, reliably and economically without any extra cost of any additional equipments or resource maintenance and this means that the computing capacity can also serve as a kind of goods like gas, water and electricity. It is convenient for use and of low cost and the only difference lies in its transmission through internet. When faced with a rapidly growing user group and mass data information, in the network environment, to meet the user’s individualized needs, their growing request of knowledge inquiry, it is necessary to make a reasonable use of cloud computing to satisfy users’ requirements, increase the users’efficiency of performance and avoid the formation of their knowledge "island". With cloud computing arising, it is has been the main task to apply the cloud computing into education to render the learners a more accurate, convenient and extensive service. Applying technology of cloud computing in educational area,it can promote profound reformation in manner, content and mode of information service, transforming traditional knowledge service into new knowledge service.Education knowledge service system is a brand-new education service mode under the internet circumstances. This article makes an introduction to the relevant concepts of cloud computing, the open-source framework of related techniques and structure model of Eucalyptus. Additionally, combined with the existing knowledge service concept and the traditional education knowledge service, the thesis constructs a Eucalyptus-based education knowledge service system model, to perfect the education knowledge service system increasingly and provide a more powerful service. Finally, the thesis performs some experiments on the Eucalyptus system in its examples throughput and network performance in certain circumstances.
