Forest resources assessment of the value of the assets is an important part of forest management , as early as in 18th-century Europe to get attention . However, due to the assets of the forest resources assessment is a comprehensive , highly technical work , especially the problem of shortage of small and medium-sized cities and towns in remote areas such as forest assets assessment qualification , must be by means of modern computer networks . Timber forest assets assessment for the main object of study , the use of VPN technology and digital signature technology , and development of the remote forest resources asset evaluation software . The system provides a feasible way to solve the problem of shortage of small and medium-sized cities and towns in remote areas such as forest assets assessment qualification . Assessment of forest resources has important theoretical significance and practical applications . In this paper, works and innovations are the following: 1 ) research and analysis of VPN technology , and use this technology to build a virtual private network , a virtual private network for remote data transmission to ensure the safety and reliability of the data . 2 ) research and analysis of digital signature technology , and use this technology to build a digital signature module , the local assessment data upload and downlink assessment results legality , authenticity and non-repudiation . 3 ) timber forest assets assessment for the main object of study and to timber forest assets assessment theory is based on the formation based on the BC / S structure mode remote forest resources, assets evaluation system .
