Abstract


The insurance industry is an important part of the financial sector in modern economic life are playing an increasingly significant role. In recent years, the impact of the global economic integration, the Western deregulation of the insurance market showed a trend, but this does not mean that the insurance regulatory requirements declined, how to regulate the insurance industry is still the people have been exploring the topic. In China, the insurance industry has become one of the three pillars of the financial industry. But, compared to Western countries, China's insurance industry is in the early stages of development, the insurance regulatory system should be strengthened and improved, one important aspect is how to make our country's insurance regulatory and international standards, comply with the development trend of international insurance regulation, welcome to join WTO challenge. Therefore, this article in today's most developed capitalist countries, the U.S. commercial insurance regulators as research subjects in order to be able to control the level of commercial insurance increased benefit. This paper is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is the text of remarks to explain the main elements relating to insurance regulation. First define the basic concepts of insurance regulation, including insurance and characteristics of the meaning, the meaning and classification regulation, insurance supervision and simple meaning of evolution. Section II of the insurance regulatory necessity Economics. Insurance market is not perfectly competitive market, there is a market failure. An important reason leading to this phenomenon is that the problem of incomplete information. Section examine the main method of insurance regulation.
