Abstract


The scale of network is becoming bigger and bigger and the structure becomingmore and more complex. Under this condition, a fill network management system cannot only make sure that the network runs smoothly and steadily but also be the basis foranalysis of the network performance. This paper studies the key technology of LANproxy. These technologies include the interaction between the main management systemand the proxy system; the implementation of transmission protocol for networkmanagement information; the management information model of LAN proxy; themanagement information model of LAN; the management application of LAN proxy indifferent networks and so on. Then this paper discusses the structure andimplementation of network management proxy system. At last we developed a fullnetwork management system by using Visual C++ on the basis of the implementation ofa LAN agent.
