Abstract


Transportation industry is an important part of the national economy, belonging to the scope of services in the national economy. Its development will be impacted by national economic development, in turn, transportation will also affect the development of national economy. Their relationship is very close. We have just entered the twelfth Five-Year Plan period of the national economy. In such a period, summing up the characteristics of the past relationship between transportation and national economic and forecasting future trends of the relationship according to the summary can guide the development of transportation well and make the transportation industry promote the development of national economy better.On this background, this dissertation make the input-output table for 2007published by Shandong Province Bureau of Statistics in 2010 as the original data sources and use the input-output method to analysis and calculate the indicator data of 1992,1997,2002 and 2007that can characterize the relationship between transportation industry and national economy. And then the dissertation makes the use of these data to research the relationship and its development trend between transportation industry and national economy.The dissertation illustrates the domestic and foreign research situation on relationship between transportation industry and national economy and accounts the views and achievements of relevant scholars first. Then qualitatively analyses the relationship between transportation industry and national economy. At last, as an example of Shandong province, the dissertation makes the 2007 input-output table as the primary data sources and uses the input-output method to quantificationally analyze the development trend of the relationship between transportation industry and national economy from 1992 to 2007 in Shandong province by calculating the indicator data that could characterize the relationship. According to these, we could infer the conclusion that the relationship between transportation industry and national economy will become closer.
