Abstract

Of poultry breeding practices of the past few decades considerable progress has been made. Chicken daily gain, feed conversion ratio and its resistance has been greatly improved, the choice of such high intensity, however, brought the negative impact of the succulent flavor decline. These problems has caused breeders around the world attach great importance to and has made some achievements, but on broiler subcutaneous fat and abdominal fat content is too high, partial bottom of the chest and thigh intramuscular fat content improved little progress. Intramuscular fat (intramuscular fat, IMF) and meat quality and taste was positively related to affect meat tenderness, flavor and juiciness, tenderness of the meat. Depth understanding of the the chicken body adipose tissue development and growth mechanism is of great significance to improve the content of intramuscular fat, control of excess fat deposition (abdomen, around the crop with the multitude of fat), and improve the quality of chicken. In this study, the star broilers and Silky hybrid the F 2 on behalf of the experimental material, PCR amplification with 12 pairs of primers for chicken extracellular fatty acid binding protein gene 5 'regulatory region and coding Four pairs of primers EPO gene promoter region of the chicken muscle cells for PCR amplification and SSCP analysis of amplified PCR fragment after polymorphism fragments were sequenced. Chicken extracellular fatty acid binding protein gene amplification part of a total of eight point mutations, -1807 at AG-1805C-A, -1011 TC, -1000 at the insertion of the C 659 TC 924 CT 968 CA -TG 1985 CT mutation. Myogenin promoter region of the gene were found in three point mutations were -618 TC -224 GA and -160 C base insertion. The of various genotypes chicken chicken extracellular fatty acid binding protein gene carcass traits for statistical analysis, the results derived extracellular fatty acid binding protein gene second pair of primers genotype BB and AB and AA genotype higher abdominal fat weight and abdominal fat percentage, the ninth primer pair HH genotype compared with other genotypes have lower abdominal fat weight and percentage of abdominal fat, the differences were highly significant (P <0.001 ), and other carcass traits (carcass weight, breast muscle weight, leg muscle weight, liver weight) there is no significant difference (P> 0.05) between these genotypes. Therefore speculate that the fragment as a marker of fat choice does not affect other carcass traits. We can draw the following conclusions, chicken extracellular fatty acid binding protein gene may be a major gene traits in chicken fat or major genes controlling the traits chain, and the invention of DNA markers that can be used on chicken fat traits for molecular marker-assisted selection.
