Abstract


This paper aims to the theory of cultural criticism , the use of text reading and comparative research methods , from the city culture unique perspective , to analyze and explore the City movie in mainland China in the past 20 years the city's image and its narrative form . The past 20 years , mainland China 's political , economic system reform , and the concomitant urbanization ferocious development , have made the middle class in the mainland city is able to generate the initial formation of the civil society , and that it is for the kind of the birth of the modern urban culture is different from traditional agricultural culture to prepare the conditions . It is in such a context of the times , the Chinese mainland city movie was able to recover only a new aesthetic cultural connotation and narrative form . This thesis is divided into four parts : 1 , visits city movies Context and its creation situation and research status ; 2 , analysis of the city movie image of the city and its cultural connotations ; explore the city movie ; 4 Conclusion : The Anatomy of the plight of the movie with a way out of the city .
