Abstract


Distribution automation is the necessary means and shortcut to improve reliability, security and quality of distribution network power supply. It also can increase work efficiency and decrease cost. Based on the development of distribution automation, some aspects of service restoration system are described in this paper. The main contents include: 1) Present a model of two-layer-tree structure to describe the topology of distribution network, and realize the model by object-oriented programming method.2) Present the overall and local dynamic connectivity analysis method to fit with the network topology.3) Analyze the feature of distribution network, introduce some power flow calculation methods, Select a back/forward sweep method and realize it.4) Analyze the service restoration in detail; With respect to different conditions of service restoration, design different objectives and use different restoration methods such as heuristic search and genetic algorithm and so on. The phenomenon that switch refuse to operate during the service restoration is also considered.5) Realize the service restoration system with VC++ and introduce how to organize the database and visualize it efficiently.
