Abstract


Has been in the distribution of production management of the majority of our power supply enterprises are using the traditional artificial means . Beginning in the 1990s , with the domestic power industry to constantly improve the level of computer hardware and software applications , such as MIS and other systems in some advanced regional or enterprise successful application , but the particularity and complexity of the distribution of production management business run effect a series of questions , the management level to improve marginally . With the deepening of the electricity reform , the society is getting high on the quality of service requirements , the economic development of the rapid expansion of the supply business , these factors have proposed a new and higher demands on the distribution of production management . In recent years , the development of GIS technology very quickly , and constantly improve the level of applications in various industries at home and abroad , can be said is an advanced and mature technology . More importantly , GIS technology can meet the new demands such as the urban distribution management , but also from the long-term perspective , in the future , such as the Digital City municipal planning , supply information alone will not necessarily with the city basic geographic information , as well as other public service information closely integrate GIS technology is able to provide the appropriate technical means to achieve this unified platform . Dandong City Power Supply Bureau is based on the above reason the building distribution management information system ( PDGIS ) . Dandong Municipal Power Supply Bureau distribution the GIS management information system uses a three-tier structure , the use of workflow technology , spatial data engine technology , Internet / Intranet technologies such as proceed from the practical point of view , the product platform in ESRI's ARC / INFO realized on the basis of the distribution of information management network diagram number integration . This system since the end of 2001 on the line run so far good system performance . Projects achieve expected results, has greatly improved the production management level . Good proof of the important role of GIS technology in the power distribution business . Of course , technically , there are also the need to further improve and perfect place . Thus In this paper, an overview of the distribution of GIS information system composed of Dandong City , the overall design of the system characteristics , some experience in system development .
