Abstract


ObjectiveExplore the impact of husband’s sperm intrauterine insemination pregnancy rate of all relevant factorsMaterials and Methods1. SamplesCollected from January 2008 to August 2009, in Guangzhou First Municipal People’s Hospital of reproductive centers were consistent line of AIH (artificial insemination with husband sperm) of 126 infertile women, a total of 224 cycles of IUI to accept treatment, age 24 -41 years of age, infertility duration 1-12 years, 85 cases of primary infertility, secondary infertility, 41 cases; all patients to sign prior informed consent of intrauterine insemination. 2. MethodsRetrospective analysis from January 2008 to August 2009 received treatment in our hospital Reproductive Center 126 infertile women underwent IUI treatment information, The relationship between age, ovulation induction, HCG injection on endometrial thickness and ultrasonic types, IUI time and frequency, cycles of IUI, different methods of semen processing, after treatment the total number of forward movement of sperm and IUI pregnancy rate were observed.3. Satistical analysisSPSS13.0 statistical software with chi-square test, P <0.05 was statistically significant.ResultsA total of 126 cases of women received 224 cycles of IUI treatment, 39 cases were pregnant, the cycle pregnancy rate was 17.86%. 8 cases of spontaneous abortion, missed abortion in 3 cases, 5 cases of twin pregnancies, 2 cases of ectopic pregnancy, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome in 1 case.1. The cycle pregnancy rates of women below30 years ,aged 30 to 35 years old and beyond 35 years were 24.00%, 17.5% and 4.55%, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.0 5).2. CC, CC + HMG and HMG ovulation cycle pregnancy rate group were 20.29%, 21.05% and 15.00%, significantly higher than the natural cycle IUI pregnancy rate was 0% period, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.0 5), but three Group ovulation cycle pregnancy rate group no significant difference (P> 0.0 5).3. The cycle pregnancy rate of endometrium which below 10 millimeter was 12.80%,less than the cycle pregnancy rate of endometrium which between 10 to 15 millimeter ,the latter was 24.24%, cycle pregnancy rate between the two groups were significantly (P <0.05); A type endometrial cycle pregnancy rate was 21.18%, significantly higher than non-A-endometrial cycle pregnancy rate, which was 7.41%.The cycle pregnancy rate between the two groups was significantly (P <0.05).4. The single-cycle IUI pregnancy rate was 18.27%, higher than two-times IUI in the same cycle, the latter was 14.81%, but cycle pregnancy rate between the two groups showed no significant difference (P> 0.05).5. Single IUI group before ovulation cycle pregnancy rate was 14.55%,lower than single IUI group after ovulation,which was 22.99%, but the cycle pregnancy rate between the two groups showed no significant difference (P> 0.05).6. The cycle pregnancy rates of 1 to 4 cycles were 21.43%, 15.71%, 7.14%, 0%, the number of different treatment cycle pregnancy rate was significantly (P <0.0 5).7. The cycle pregnancy rates of the treatment of sperm upstream was 21.21%, significantly higher than the cycle pregnancy rates of the treatment of sperm density gradient,which was 8.50% ,the cycle pregnancy rate between the two groups was significantly (P <0.05).8. After the treatment the total number of forward movement of sperm into 4 groups, treated the total number of sperm forward movement <5×106,5×106≤sperm after treatment the total number of forward movement <10×106,10×106≤treated prior to movement total sperm counts <20×106, the forward movement of sperm after treatment the total number of≥20×106, the cycle pregnancy rate in each group were 4.65%, 11.11%, 19.70%, 28.57%, respectively, cycle pregnancy rate was significantly (P <0.05).Conclusions1.The age of Infertile women, HCG injection on endometrial thickness and ultrasonic types, IUI time, after treatment the total number of forward movement of sperm can affect the clinical pregnancy rate;2.proper ovulation, grasp the opportunity of IUI can help to improve the clinical pregnancy rate; 3.choosing the appropriate method of semen processing can improvethe semen quality maximum according to the situation of the patient,and the higher clinical pregnancy rate was obtained;4.extending the number of IUI treatment cycles to 3 cycles or morecan not increase the cumulative IUI pregnancy rate;5. After treatment the total number of sperm forward movement <5×106, may first try IUI.
