Abstract

Economic development and technological advances made in the traditional power system along the direction of the development to large - scale power systems interconnected by the regional power supply , this trend also bring huge economic benefits at the same time to the stability of the power system , especially temporary state stability poses a serious challenge . The direct method is one of the important methods for transient stability analysis , stability analysis and judgment to use its post-fault system is an important issue in power system studies . In the past few decades , it has made ??considerable progress , but to maintain model applications as well as practical applications are still many problems in the structure . This area , the paper commenced in the following areas of research : First , this paper analyzes the structure remains the model 's external transition behavior , and the proposed use of the BLE method to judge the direction of the external transition , to obtain the correct failures after the system initial value is very important. On this basis , this extension of the traditional Controlling UEP method to structure remains the model , and propose a new direct method , extended Controlling UEP method . Compared with traditional methods , it requires a comparison of two transient function value to the system is stable or judgment given fault , and sometimes also gives more conservative stable estimates . Therefore, in order to improve the validity and accuracy of the ECUEP method to introduce limited numerical simulation instead of part of the energy function value comparison , which made the the mixed ECUEP method . Secondly, based on the structure of the B-H to keep the model discussed TCSC transient process and the long-distance transmission system transient stability . The simulation results show that the degree of series compensation may cause the system to critical cutset changes . In response to this phenomenon , the use of the the Controlling UEP theory analysis of TCSC installation and series compensation degree change makes the post-fault system unstable equilibrium point does not correspond , which explains the change of the critical cutset . Further simulation and analysis show that the large degree of series compensation will cause slip ( cutset ) the uneven distribution of the transient energy , which may result in reduced system transient stability .
