Abstract


Because of the special cultural geography and historical reasons, some traditional towns with different structure and spac~ mode have been protected in YunNun province. They are production of traditional architecture culture, idiographic natural condition and mainland culture. They are excellent on outer space design just like street system, node space. Facing with huge change of economy and culture , some of them are being destroyedThis thesis explore the function and development principle of street system, study the proportion relation, architecture style, street elements and summarize the architectural means, proportion standard on form of sight in traditional street.After introducing the current situation on street system of traditional towns on traffic, infrastructure, environment, the thesis bring up measures to protect and renew street system so as to adapt the new function demands.
