Abstract

Soil resources is the basis of human survival and sustainable development. The analysis of soil spatial distribution of soil science research. The study is based on the National Natural Science Foundation project - scale soil landscape pattern analysis scale soil spatial distribution of the study. The research and application of GIS the composite overlay analysis, clustering aggregation analysis, buffer analysis, analysis and statistical analysis of the digital terrain model (DTM), explored in scale soil distribution law and the soil properties with topographic factors (elevation height, aspect, from the river near and far) and change the law. The research work of Xi'an test plots. In the research work will be a digital elevation model (DEM) concept introduced into soil science research, production the Xi'an digital soil physical and chemical nature of the model (including the organic matter content of the digital model, digital PH value model, model of Digital cation exchange capacity, digital cosmid content model). At the same time, the reference to the method used of DEM Products hatch and contour plots, contour maps produced organic matter content, organic matter content Hatch Figure the PH values ??hatch Figure hatch diagram of the cation exchange capacity and clay content Hatch Figure. The above models and maps to analyze the relationship between soil properties and terrain factors change. In addition, the application of GIS spatial analysis method to extract soil distribution at different altitudes, different aspect, from the different rivers near and far regions. Quantitative analysis of the law of spatial variation of soil properties using the extracted information. All of these are the GIS analytical methods used in mesoscale soil space distribution law research breakthroughs and innovation. In addition, this study established a soil repository. The library provides soil plaque perimeter, area, number of patches data. According to the principles of landscape ecology, the use of the above data to calculate a the soil plaque uniform index, diversity index, and for statistical analysis. Made a useful exploration method for geographic information systems discipline applied to the soil landscape. The study found that: geographic information science methods and techniques used in soil science research is feasible, the incomparable superiority in conventional analysis methods; Xi'an significant spatial distribution of soil (vertical zonal changes in soil physical and chemical factors with the terrain the nature of the changes in a regular study area soil plaque uniformity); statistical research methods in the analysis of soil spatial distribution pattern is important. This study is a useful exploration of geographic information science analysis methods used in soil science and landscape ecology research. In this study, some theoretical guidance value and the actual value of the actual situation of Xi'an, and also provide a reference for other areas of research.
