Abstract

The purpose of this article is to re-examine the path of modernization in China from the perspective of ecological civilization. The human society should replace industrial civilization is civilization. From a historical point of view, the human civilization is taking a destruction of the ecological environment at the expense of road. The higher the level of accumulation of civilization, the greater the degree of damage to the environment, the rapid development of the productive forces as the main content of modern industrial civilization into ecological predicament in fact, is a historical necessity. The ecological crisis reflects the crisis of industrial civilization. Ecological crisis can not be solved within the framework of the industrial civilization, must be gradually replaced by a new civilization - ecological civilization. Ecological civilization is the civilization of industrial civilization and agriculture the sublation is born out of the industrial civilization and agricultural civilization, the coordinated development of human society and the ecosystem, the sum of co-evolution as the core material, spiritual and institutional results. It is a new concept of survival and development; necessity of the development of human history; human conscious choice. Its basic characteristics are: ecological way of thinking, the way of development eco ecological and consumption. In the history of the world, China is a latecomer modern country. Since the founding of New China, China's socialist modernization drive has made great achievements, for various reasons, however, China has not yet realizing modernization had been caught in the ecological predicament, the deteriorating ecological environment has become the bottleneck of China's modernization drive. This is mainly caused by the following reasons. First, Before the reform and opening up, the new China's modernization in the decision-making mistakes; Second, the level of national environmental awareness and reality demands a huge difference; Third, the backwardness of the concept of development; Fourth, the lifestyle of Western consumerism blind imitation. How to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese modern history of more than a dozen generations think about. The destruction of the ecological environment at the expense of modern road will only make us farther and farther away from the modern, let alone keep up with the pace of development of human civilization. Due to the special conditions and is in a special historical stage, China must open up a new modern road than ever before modern mode, which is based on ecological civilization as the goal of the modern road. We both walked into the industrial civilization, but also out of the industrial civilization. Specifically, China must strengthen the construction of ecological civilization under the premise of modernization. Strengthening the construction of ecological civilization is the only way for the realization of China's modernization, the progressive realization of the transition from the industrial civilization concept to the concept of ecological civilization, lay a solid foundation for the transition to the era of ecological civilization in the process of socialist modernization. The ecological crisis is actually a cultural crisis, human value judgment about how to deal with the relationship between man and nature made a mistake has occurred, which was derived this industrial civilization and nature in sharp opposition to the survival and development. As the American philosopher Laszlo said, mankind as a whole, is still culturally backward. The reason why China's modernization will fall into the ecological dilemma, fundamentally speaking, is also due to cultural attitudes backwardness. China to open up an ecological civilization as the goal of the modern road, you must first be implemented in a number of significant conceptual change and breakthrough. First, to achieve the transition from the mechanistic view of the world to the ecological worldview.
