Abstract

Objective: To investigate elderly patients with hypertension TCM distribution law as well as in film thickness in the carotid artery, urine microalbumin, explaining its intrinsic link with the TCM-Chinese dialectical new reference for Integrative Medicine basis. Methods: 100 cases of elderly hypertensive patients, male 48 cases, 52 females, aged 70.8 ± 7.0 years. Select the healthy elderly outpatient medical examinations for the same period 20 cases, including 12 males and 8 females as a control group. Design elderly hypertensive patients registration form, collecting patient history data, its dialectical. The day of determination of blood pressure, take seats right upper arm brachial artery blood pressure measured with a standard desktop mercury press Korotkoff stethoscopy, take the first sound of the systolic blood pressure (SBP), the fifth tone for diastolic blood pressure (DBP). The next day the first urine specimens from early morning turbidimetric immunoassay microalbuminuria. Measuring carotid intima thickness, using the U.S. company GE Vivid 7 Pro ultrasonic frequency color Doppler ultrasonography in the 7.5 ~ 10 MHz frequency probe and plaque score calculated using a semi-quantitative method. Results: 1. Distribution of elderly patients with hypertension TCM syndromes of phlegm dampness gt; hyperactivity gt; yin and yang gt; anger Kang Sheng. The syndrome distribution differences between men and women without statistical significance (p gt; 0.05). Between the men and women of elderly patients with hypertension IMT, plaque score and UMA value difference was not statistically significant (p gt; 0.05). 3 elderly patients with hypertension syndrome type group and the control group IMT difference was statistically significant (p lt; 0.05). IMT comparison between hypertensive syndrome type group, yin and yang gt; hyperactivity gt; anger Kang Sheng. Comparison between the plaque score, phlegm dampness gt; yin and yang gt; hyperactivity, anger Kang Sheng. 4 the MAU control group of elderly patients with hypertension syndrome type group difference was statistically significant (p lt; 0.05). The hypertension syndrome type groups MAU comparison, yin and yang, phlegm dampness gt; hyperactivity, anger Kang Sheng. 5 there is a correlation between elderly hypertensive patients MAU with IMT, the correlation coefficient r = 0.768 (p lt; 0.05). Conclusion: 1. Elderly patients with hypertension TCM syndromes of phlegm dampness vacuity main. 2. Carotid intima thickness, plaque score and urinary albumin and elderly hypertensive patients with TCM type there is a correlation, a new reference basis for the provision of elderly patients with EH TCM syndrome typing. Urinary albumin and carotid intima thickness is closely related to microalbuminuria is not only related to kidney disease and elderly patients with hypertension, subclinical arterial atherosclerosis early signs of elderly patients with hypertension early prevention and treatment There are of positive significance.
