Objective: To observe the ankle-brachial ratio (Ankle Brachial Index, ABI) and other indicators of diabetes with peripheral arterial occlusive disease ( Diabetic Artery Obliterans , DAO) patients and healthy people between the differences, analysis of its correlation with DAO TCM syndrome type . Method : random screening and blood stasis and damp DAO patients , 50 cases and randomly selected 20 healthy control subjects , collected the general study and detection of the ABI objective indicators , analytical comparison between the various types and ABI differences between the control group were used for statistical analysis. Results: The the common syndromes DAO patients ABI was significantly lower than the control group , and there are some notable differences (P lt; 0.01); the and damp ABI was significantly lower than blood stasis type , the two have very significant differences (P lt; 0.01). Conclusion : DAO and blood stasis , damp type ABI reduce the phenomenon exists , and there are differences in the different syndromes , suggesting that ABI can be used as an important objective indicator of DAO TCM syndrome type .
