Objective: To observe the Dendrobium luminous balls in the treatment of dry eye clinical efficacy, and explored its mechanism of action . METHODS: In Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital eye clinic using the same inclusion and exclusion criteria included in the medical records of 90 cases of dry eye and 1:1 were randomly divided into experimental and control groups . Oral administration of the test group of proprietary Chinese medicines Dendrobium luminous pills, topical eye drops hydroxyl sugar Gan control group topical hydroxyl sugar sweet eye drops . Course of two months . Observed before and after the treatment of ocular and systemic symptoms, tear film breakup time, corneal fluorescein staining , tear secretion efficacy endpoint . Results: Before treatment, gender , age, duration of disease, the symptoms of Chinese and Western medicine , dry eye related indicators are not statistically significant ( P gt ; 0.05 ) , comparable . 2 Western efficacy evaluation : test group total effective rate was 80% , total effective rate was 65% in the control group . Significant efficiency and efficiency compared with control group was statistically significant ( P lt ; 0.05 ) , the experimental group than the control group . (3) the efficacy of TCM syndrome : the experimental group total effective rate of 85 % , total effective rate was 67.5% in the control group . Conclusion: oral Dendrobium luminous pill combined with local bit artificial tears can significantly improve the symptoms of dry eye , extend the tear film break-up time , promote the repair of the corneal epithelium , increased tear secretion , more effective than the local bit artificial tears .
