Abstract


Objective: We randomly applied two types of treatment to 64 patients with the symptom of facial fat. The two categories are’point pestle needle therapy with facial oil massage treatment’and’only facial oil massage treatment’. We observed and compared curative effects of two different treatments.Methods-We selected 64 samples of facial fat according to the standard we adopted and divided them into two groups randomly. For the treatment group with 32 cases, we applied the point pestle needle therapy with facial oil massage treatment. We treated another 32 cases with only facial oil massage treatment. For each treatment, we set a period of 10 days and three periods in total. We used a soft ruler to measure the size of lineament, both before and after the treatments. We recorded personal data objectively and took photographs of facial fat samples. Through the data and the pictures, we summed up individual curative effect and compared the outcome of each treatment group.Results: After three periods of treatment (which lasted for one month), the effect of the treatment group greatly differed from the two contrastive groups, in the phase of curability, apparently, healing rate, inefficiency and rapidity. The performance of the treatment group was apparently better than the other groups.Conclusion: For facial fat patients, point pestle needle therapy with facial oil massage treatment is more effective than only facial oil massage treatment, and thus more preferable.
