Abstract


The rise of digital television surging , China decided to stop the transmission of analog television since 2015 . The video on demand system is one of the most important value-added services in the digital TV business . In this paper, two-way video-on-demand Cable unidirectional , and has been successfully implemented in Changzhou wide grid . Most of the current cable networks for one-way transmission , transformation of the two - way HFC network requires a lot of investment , and video-on-demand in the domestic cable television video-on-demand are subject studied in this paper is based on one-way CATV network the two - way video-on-demand has important implications . The system is based on the MPEG-2 protocol , established respectively by the video server and SQL data program database , EPG database, design the signal input system , a signal processing system, the system management and signal output system through the existing network structure will comply with DVB standard data stream sent to the user terminal (STB) . At the same time , through the user management system provides user permissions based on user fees information to the conditional access system for authorization. Sent from the front to the client receives the entire process to strictly follow the DVB-C standard . The novel algorithm , the system is the ideal choice for two - way video-on-demand cable stations transition from analog TV to digital TV shift .
