The Psychological Healthy Condition of Junior High School Students in Wuhan and Research about Group Intervention

Abstract


Objective: To understand the mental health of Wuhan City, junior middle school students and its influencing factors to explore the feasibility and application of group intervention in adolescent mental quality training, so as to provide a basis for the development of effective interventions. Methods: ① six secondary schools in the three towns of Wuhan City, the whole group extracted a total of 2530 students who started as a research object, adolescent health risk behaviors, childhood abuse Questionnaire in Chinese (CTQ-SF), Mental Health Test (MHT) parenting styles (EMBU) Questionnaire Survey on mental health, to understand the mental health of junior high school students in Wuhan City and the main factors; (2) a secondary school as an intervention object, to take cluster sampling method to extract three classes combined MHT results and personal will select 15 students who started as an intervention object, using self Guidance Program for its three-month group counseling, Mental Health Test (MHT) and group activities feedback form will be measured before and after the intervention check , the evaluation team activities on adolescent psychological and behavioral intervention. Results: 1. Youth mental health of Description ① youth MHT each factor score average in the range of 1.71 to 4.57, which physical symptoms, terrorist tendencies and impulsivity subscale scores, sharing more than 4 points are lonely tend factor score lower; girls in anxiety, tendency to self-blame, physical symptoms, terrorist tendencies, impulsivity factor score and MHT score higher than boys, and the score difference was statistically significant (p lt; 0.05); (2) there is a psychological (subscale ≥ 8 points or score ≥ 65 points) 654 young people, the detection rate of 25.85%; whom are girls in the detection of terrorist tendencies and the total score higher than boys, the difference was statistically significant ( p lt; 0.05). (2) factors that affect adolescent mental health (1) single-factor analysis of the relationship between young people of different family environment and family MHT out of different health behavior of young people out of MHT, and the differences were statistically significant (p lt; 0.05) (2) the content of the relevant analysis MHT scores for the CTQ-SF subscale score most of the positive correlation, and the most statistically significant factor score and parental rearing except negatively correlated with warmth and understanding, and the rest are is a positive correlation was statistically significant (p lt; 0.05), and most of the relevant. ③ multi-factor analysis at the 0.05 level on the multiple linear regression model variables: gender, father's education level, parental relationship satisfaction, the parents if there is a serious conflict, frequency of communication with their parents, parents' expectation is too high, emotional abuse, emotional neglect father rearing styles preference test and overprotective, the Parenting Pattern warmth and understanding and denial deny. Group intervention evaluation after the intervention and three months after the intervention intervention group members on anxiety, loneliness orientation, allergic tendencies, physical symptoms, terrorist tendencies score on the factor score and total score lower than before the intervention, and the differences were statistically significant (p lt; 0.05), before and after the intervention of the members of the control group score difference was not statistically significant. Members of the intervention group intervention descendants interpersonal skills, learning ability to adapt to improved parent-child relationship is better than before. Conclusion: 1. Adolescent mental problem can not be ignored, the level of mental health of girls less than boys, mainly the relationship between family environment and the factors that affect adolescent mental health, childhood abuse experienced parental rearing patterns. 2 group counseling can improve the mental health of young people, to improve their interpersonal relationships, and learning to adapt and the ability of the parent-child communication, is an effective form to improve the level of students' psychological health.
