Abstract


Learning Disabilities students of normal intelligence , but in listening, speaking, reading , reasoning , mathematical ability or social skills difficulties , and there are obvious gaps between other intellectual equivalent students . Self-concept is an important part of self-awareness , it is the understanding and evaluation of the individual on their own , from this understanding and evaluation of individual experience and perceptions of the environment ( Burns, 1982 ) . Children with Learning Disabilities have lower self- concept , negative self-concept plays an important role in learning the undesirable formation process . According to the the Sandplay theory basis and treatment assumptions , the present study demonstrated the feasibility of the improvement of learning disabilities children's self- concept . In this study, a \differences in various dimensions of the self-concept , and the characteristics of the self-concept of children with learning disability ; the the researchers detailed records of children with Learning Disabilities and ordinary children, each of 30 initial the Sandplay production process , and analyze them summarize , generalize children with Learning Disabilities characteristics of the initial box tribunal ; research using randomized experimental group control group posttest design , 13 receiving Sandplay therapy learning bad children and 5 do not accept any treatment of learning disabilities children Sandplay characteristics and self- concept score difference test , verify Sandplay improve the effectiveness of the self-concept of children with learning disability ; individual sandplay research on one of the children with learning disability , of Sandplay psychological change process to improve the self-concept of children with learning disability . Conclusions are as follows : 1, the characteristics of self-concept : learning bad children 's non- academic self-concept and ordinary children did not significantly with differences , academic self- concept was significant with lower than normal children ; 2 , Sandplay features : learning bad children 's initial sandplay toys quantity toys species , plant use , use of space , less help-seeking behavior ; 3,12 Sandplay post production : Sandplay features self- concept scores are close to ordinary children , children with Learning Disabilities .
