Police Professional is a high-risk, high-pressure career, a healthy state of mind is one of the essential qualities of a police officer. But our system of police mental health and related factors, very few. The purpose of this study is to investigate the mental health of the province grassroots police as well as affect their mental health. This study questionnaire testing, field surveys and interviews, SCL-90, the LES Life Event Scale the self \the survey. And t test, F test, LSD multiple comparison method and other methods of data analysis, gender, age, kinds of police officers, regional variables made a difference in the level of mental health and related factors of grassroots police. Finally, on the basis of this study, more targeted to improve grass-roots level of police mental health. In this study, the following conclusions: 1. In this study, 334 grassroots police mental health level is lower than the national general population. Compared with the national norm, and the the grassroots police in Shandong Province on the SCL-90 factor score were higher than the national norm, and all factors significant difference. 2. The grassroots police mental health levels exist between the different sexes, different ages, different kinds of police officers, in different parts of significant differences. Higher than on the overall level of mental health of the male police female police; police mental health problems of the 31-40 year-old grass-roots up, followed by the 26-30 year-old police again 41-47 years ,18-25-year-old grass-roots police psychological a higher level of health; Interpol and the traffic police, the relatively low level of mental health, mental health level of the security police and patrol slightly better; Jinan police more psychological problems, followed by Qingdao, Shouguang. 3. Female police LES score, family problems score was significantly higher than that of male police; life events score of 31-40 age segment grassroots police, family problems, work problems, scored higher than any other age group, and there is a significant difference; different there is no significant difference between the kinds of police officers and in different regions. 4. The grassroots police living and working conditions questionnaire analysis shows that the reality of the main factors affecting the mental health of the police: overworked, unhealthy lifestyles, interpersonal tensions, relations between the police desalination and the reform of public security work maladaptive.
