Abstract


Conversational implicature as a special language phenomenon has aroused widespread concern of philosophers , linguists, psychologists . In this paper, starting from the cognitive basis of the generated session Meaning , Sperber Wilson hierarchical distinction between the preliminary discussion on the mechanism of generation and understanding of the meaning of the session , the meaning of communication . On the basis of cognitive linguistics research , the paper points out , in the process of interaction with the outside world , the human brain can form a by knowledge Blocks organic combination of psychological constructs , language alluding to the psychological construct it has meaning . Knowledge Blocks are interconnected , the activation of a knowledge Blocks can be transmitted to other knowledge Blocks , this feature makes the cognitive gaps between the literal meaning and the true intentions of the speaker's communication , but also makes session meaning the generation and understanding possible. In the level of communication , Sperber Wilson communicative intention of area is divided into communicative intention and inform intent in the analysis , this paper complements the literal meaning of the bottom level . This paper argues that the indirect expression , communicative intent and inform intentions obvious extent inconsistent , reflecting the the brain build knowledge Blocks in regular contact relationship is connected intention and literal meaning of the bridge .
