Abstract


Cybernetics is the a multidisciplinary product of the widespread influence the development of a wide range of disciplines, had a profound impact on epistemology and methodology of many disciplines and fruitful outcome. The entry point of this study is the combination of cybernetics and Foreign Language Teaching to analyze the characteristics and laws of the foreign language teaching process control theory perspective, more comprehensive and accurate grasp of the dynamic process of foreign language teaching, combined with the characteristics of college English teaching solve college English teaching. The study is divided into two aspects. In theory, from the point of view of cybernetics analysis of the major schools of educational psychology impact of foreign language teaching theory to establish the model of the control of foreign language teaching. In practice, the application of cybernetics foreign language teaching model in college English teaching, to prove the feasibility of the model. Different understanding of the different schools of educational psychology in education has a profound impact on the development of foreign language teaching. Main schools of educational psychology, behaviorism, cognitivism (including information processing and constructivism), the humanistic and social interaction and so can be incorporated into the framework of cybernetics. The focus of some part of the point of view of cybernetics, a different understanding of the substance of these different schools of education is the education control large complex system is different. Are controlled by personal significance from the point of view of cybernetics, constructivism, humanistic and social interaction theory focuses on construction of the neglect of the construction of collective significance of this particular environment in the classroom teaching. Construction of personal meaning and can not itself contribute to the collective construction of meaning. Construction of collective significance requires the integration of the role of teachers, that is, to be under the control of the controller to complete. Thus based on three theories of social constructivist teaching model is not comprehensive, and do not reflect the real characteristics and laws of the foreign language teaching. This study established a cybernetic model of foreign language teaching, in order to solve the problem of social constructivist teaching model. Control of foreign language teaching model to accommodate the success factors of the different schools of educational psychology, while capacity into the construction of collective significance explore. Derived from the experimental study of the two types of classes in college English teaching, collective significance of the integration process of foreign language teaching, to promote the teaching process to achieve optimal control of teachers critical to the integration of the role of collective significance. Thus proving cybernetics foreign language teaching model not only in theory, more comprehensive, truly reflect the characteristics and laws of the college English teaching process, in practice, is also feasible.
