Abstract


English education is a very practical activities to improve the learning ability of students is an important content of the English teaching reform . In high school, English occupies an important position in all courses . Therefore, to improve the English scores of high school students have to find a breakthrough in learning . Meta - cognitive theory of the last century theory of learning strategies into China from abroad in the 1990s , the instructor teaching and student learning is of great significance and value . Especially in the English teaching activities , and enhance students' metacognitive knowledge and improve students' metacognitive strategies is an important way to improve students' English self-learning ability and English scores . The papers from the perspective of the metacognitive observe the students the metacognitive knowledge and metacognitive strategies mastery of for independent learning English , and classes of two foundation in English and the level of Qi , as metacognitive knowledge and metacognitive strategies experimental classes and reference classes, there was no experimentation to take has investigated the way to get first-hand information . In the test class , about metacognitive knowledge training , including personal training as a learner knowledge , task knowledge training and metacognitive learning strategies training , focusing on the training of metacognitive strategies , guide students to develop a study plan, completed the program monitoring capabilities , and learn to self-evaluation skills training . Autonomy and metacognitive training again on the experimental class with reference to students metacognitive knowledge and self-learning of the investigation , analysis and comparison of various indicators in the pre - training , training metacognitive learning English and performance-related characteristics that metacognitive training can promote the development of high school students' self-learning ability , in the meta- cognitive ability and academic relations , the higher the level of metacognitive , better academic performance .
