Abstract


Compared with other common nouns, the human word has significant ambiguity. Human word ambiguity occupies an important position in the study of linguistics vocabulary. Traditionally, the ambiguity of human word research is focused on the description of the formation (radiation and connection type) and form a pathway (diachronic and synchronic). From a cognitive point of departure, some linguists at home and abroad on a study conducted on human word ambiguity also made a lot of achievements, but there are still some defects. This article is intended to experience philosophy, the theory of categorization and metaphor and metonymy theoretical basis for common human words, word meaning \and in comparison with traditional English vocabulary learning method based on this study has three inspirations for English vocabulary learning, and thus has a certain theoretical and practical significance. The first chapter reviews the past linguist \\The second chapter explains the theoretical basis of this article. Experience a philosophical point of view, human interaction through the body and the world to connect with the world, human beings because of their physical structure in a special way to perceive all things in the world to understand the relationships among them. According to categorization theory, the ambiguity of human word is a category, and its significance is divided into prototype senses and the edge of the senses, which is distributed around the former is mainly based on metaphor and metonymy former mapping of cognitive style. In the following two chapters, we select the data collection and statistical analysis highlight the metaphorical meaning of \characteristics of discussion and analysis, and based on these characteristics, the meaning of the \The CONTROL, FOOT FOR CORRECT DIRECTION, MEASUREMENT FOR FOOT, BLOOD FOR PERSON, BLOOD FOR RACE OR FAMILY and BLOOD FOR ACTION discuss the nature of polysemy. Finally, I put forward on the basis of theoretical research in front of enlightenment in practice, the study of English vocabulary learning. As the three elements of the language (pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary), vocabulary plays a crucial role in language learning. In college English learning, vocabulary learning is a focus and difficulty. Through the first four chapters of analysis, we found that starting from a cognitive perspective on human word research can bring some inspiration to the English vocabulary learning: Students should focus on the process of learning vocabulary from their own, found that the intrinsic relationship of the human body and vocabulary learning truly \Understanding the link between the meaning of a word.
