Abstract


The movies have been recognizable a good way to learn a foreign language. In recent years, the increasing enthusiasm for foreign language learning, foreign language film naturally by the majority of the audience, especially young people, and foreign language learners of all ages. But different audiences have different needs of the film. Some people like to add subtitles original film, and others like dubbing movies. Seen in this light, the translation of the movie is particularly important. However, the current release of the movie, although most of them translated in some form, but its translation more or less is not working well, there are still some problems. In addition, China's TV drama translation has been lagging behind in foreign countries (especially in Europe) research. Therefore, the authors chose to do comparative study of the two versions of the movie \Soundtrack subtitles in English subtitles from birds Shadow Court making the subtitle on the network group dubbed version is selected the Shanghai were dubbed factory works. After some comparative studies, the authors found that the similarities and differences of the two versions. The similarities between the two is their principles, in essence, characteristics, limited and their translation strategies; difference is mainly reflected in: First, the credibility of both; Second, the subtitle translation vulnerable; Dubbing need to make the appropriate adjustments to the length and content of the original; Subtitled more positive translation, dubbing version of the use of anti-translation; fifth, Dubbing complementary or explain Sexual translation. In addition, both their advantages and disadvantages are also reflected. Film subtitles, although there are many problems, such as spelling errors, translation accuracy, but relative to its dubbed version, it is more credible and more for English learners. Dubbed the reason enduring, because its translation is in place, easy to understand. And dub foreign language film itself has two advantages. First, it can effectively protect their own language, and the second is to help to disseminate the culture, because it is almost suitable for all audiences. The dubbed version of the film there are still some shortcomings, such as the lyrics of which has not been translated few translations are still not satisfactory, but it's true credibility is also worth questioning. Finally, the authors put forward some suggestions, such as increase in the dubbed version with Chinese subtitles, so also can attract viewers with hearing defects. In short, the associated theory of film translation has a strong explanatory power. Subtitle translation or dubbing translation, should be asked to achieve the best association for the purpose of trying to make the audience to fully understand the communicative intent of the original language of the target language, and make full use of audiovisual translation strategies to help the audience better understand the primitive, which improve communication effects.
