Abstract

In this study, cognitive linguists Goldberg's Construction Grammar framework, explore Chinese-speaking English learners of English Ditransitive Construction of acquisition. Specifically, this study first in construction grammar within the theoretical framework of Ditransitive Construction carried out (cross-) linguistic analysis to determine the impact Ditransitive Construction of the main factors of second language acquisition, and through empirical research, investigated by Chinese-speaking learners of English second language Ditransitive Construction of acquisition situation. In this paper, construction grammar theories about verbs and constructions interactive perspective, through the dual match Transitive and constructional features detailed (cross-) linguistic analysis, are the following findings: 1) English double transitive semantic types and constructions showed varying degrees of matching: to give verbs (including explicit and implicit grant given) matched with a higher degree of constructional meaning, becoming a typical double transitive verb sentence type; creation verbs and obtain verbs and constructions match weaker meaning, becoming double edge transitive verb sentence types. 2) both English meaning Ditransitive Construction conceptualized in different ways, ie, rightward shift of English, Chinese, left / right to transfer, so they (the edge) verb types have different options were limited: consumption of verbs can enter the Chinese ditransitive sentence, but can not enter English; create verbs can enter the English ditransitive sentence, but can not enter the Chinese; obtain verbs can simultaneously access both languages, but express the opposite meaning. In the (cross) on the basis of linguistic analysis, this study proposes three specific research hypothesis that these factors will Ditransitive Construction of second language acquisition with a corresponding impact, and design tools to verify these two studies assumptions. These two research tools were acceptability judgment task and translate sentences Correction task, a total of 90 groups birthright belong to different levels of English learners participated in the study. Experimental results show that in the acquisition of English ditransitive constructions, the verb second language learners of typical types of acquisition is much better than on the edge of the verb type of acquisition, showing a \verbs, \for learners (especially low level learners) in the acquisition process consumes classes tend to accept Ditransitive sentence, but refused to create a class Ditransitive sentence, and the sentences tend to get class Ditransitive interpreted as \\The study found that the acquisition of English second language learners Ditransitive Construction of the main factors: the type of verbal semantic typical / marginalized; Ditransitive Construction in English and conceptualized manner and the resulting differences in the type of verbs different choices limited. The results of this study confirm the theory of construction grammar Goldberg Ditransitive Construction of Second Language Acquisition explain the effectiveness of
