Abstract


With the rapid development of economic globalization and international competition intensifies , multinational companies changed the RD activities focused on the company's home country traditional , have set up overseas RD institutions layout of RD activities in international business strategy has become multinationals globalization an important part . At the same time, with the Chinese market status in the global economy gradually increase , after 90 years of the 20th century , multinational companies to increase trade with China and production investment , have come to China to set up RD institutions , especially in the past forty five years set off the investment boom in China RD . In the face of this new phenomenon , many scholars from different angles , but the main focus on the status quo, characteristics, types of activities , and our impact analysis and description , a little research location choice for these RD institutions . The location distribution multinationals overseas RD institutions is the result of interaction of internal motivation and external location factors . Draw on relevant research results in the field of this article discusses the problem of the location choice of multinational companies in China RD institutions , from the micro and meso levels . First , from the micro ( enterprise ) level analysis of the causes of the multinational companies to establish overseas RD institutions , follow-up from the market , the technology to track the multinational companies to establish overseas RD institutions motivation and resources to seek three aspects , which summarized the multinationals the general pattern of overseas RD location choice . Second, the combination of in China, foreign RD institutions district -bit distribution of the actual situation , from concept level that regional investment environment 's point of empirical analysis of the impact in China, foreign RD institutions district -bit distribution of the main factors , and verify the built in text location Select mode , the last corresponding policy recommendations based on the empirical analysis results .
