Abstract


Any color has the concrete pictographic attachment, we compared to the color word "bai" pictographic attachment by the character shape, psychological cognition pattern as well as "bai" as the character radical and aspect.Compound research results has confirmed that it is one kind of visual condition which the sunlight shines presents.Chinese color word "bai" consists of three basic elements:the color appearance, purity, brightness because "bai" depends on sunlight. We thought three kind of base original meaning elements produce affluently the rhetoric meaning of color word "bai" by metaphor. The pan-rhetoric’s form of color word "bai" has "～+bai" the type and "bai +-".The rhetoric righteousness presents the complexity, the national characteristic, the fusion, the contemporaneity four characteristics.Its base original meaning,"ri guang" is richly expanded to the rhetoric righteousness of the literature text. In the scenery description, the"bai"also breaks through the sole visual appearance, either "reactionary" or "pure" and so on. In the portrait description and so on,the "bai" presents skin color’s condition, demonstrates the auspicious omen synonym, penetrates person’s intrinsic inner world and culture of society.
