Abstract


The Edition Dramas of Ming Dynasty by ShenTai is the most important dramas set which saved the Ming dynasty drama works. This book is divided into two parts, each one contained thirty dramas. The Beginning set published in Ming chongzhen 2 years(1629),and the end set in chongzhen 14 year(1641) publication. Most of the sixty dramas were created in late Ming dynasty, we can see the features of literati south drama. The Edition Dramas of Ming Dynasty appeared in late Ming dynasty, which is the relative prosperous period of drama selection. From the prefaces、comments at the top of a page and selected works, we can see editor’s purport and The late Ming period drama views and artistic fashion. The research on The Edition Dramas of Ming Dynasty is of great significance to expand the ranges of drama research and enriching the content of drama research history.
