Abstract

The high incidence of lung cancer , the treatment is poor, is the most dangerous diseases on human health worldwide . In 2000 , 1.3 million people died of lung cancer . The treatment is ineffective also contributed to the high lung cancer mortality . The 5-year survival of patients with lung cancer is 14% of Europe 's five-year survival rate was 10% . Early diagnosis of lung cancer is very difficult , when 2 / 3 of patients with a clear diagnosis in late , even if the comprehensive treatment of a variety of therapies do nothing to reduce mortality . For localized lung cancer , surgery is still a thorough treatment of the most effective methods . Limitations due to various circumstances , only about 25-30 % of the patients may be implemented surgery. Currently, no clinical high sensitivity, specificity have applied to the early diagnosis of lung cancer tumor markers . For the treatment of lung cancer , which is a serious flaw . Not just lung cancer , many malignancies are urgently needed new tumor markers or tumor stage marker of tumor staging , as soon as possible to carry out the symptomatic treatment . In recent years, a large number of tumor markers are emerging , but their sensitivity and specificity are not , such as carcinoembryonic antigen ( CEA ) CEA is still the most widely used clinical application , the best tumor markers . The carcinoembryonic antigen inadequacies that : Many tumors do not express carcinoembryonic antigen , carcinoembryonic antigen can not be detected ; CEA does not reflect the growth of the tumor after treatment . Recently, the gene in vitro amplification technology makes some biological macromolecules gradually become a new higher value use of tumor markers . Osteopontin is an acidic glycoprotein, the molecular main chain length about 32.5Kda rich in aspartic acid , glutamic acid , serine . Osteopontin containing nearly 30 monosaccharide (including 10 sialic acids ) , an N-glycosylation , and 5-6 O - Glycan . The wide distribution of osteopontin phosphorylation sites scattered throughout the molecule ; more phosphorylation sites ( 30 ) . Osteoclasts,
