Abstract


With the development of software industry, people increasingly pay close attention to the standardization of management in the software development process. CMM (capability maturity model) as a software process improvement model used extensively in the world, becomes the pass that software companies enter the international market .So implementing CMM is an effective way to break the barrier of software export. However, at present the study on CMM in our country stays at theory level, lacks the implementing scheme in experiences. In view of this situation, this thesis does deep research on the applying of CMM,based on a large amount of investigations.Firstly, the thesis introduces the software engineering and CMM merged frame, this frame merges software engineering with process improvement and evaluation criterion of CMM, has solved the gap between the theory and the experience. Then based on this, we make investigations in many software enterprises that passed CMM, around the main tasks of every stages in the project, combine the key process area of CMM, have made analysis to the typical case. Finally, we summarize successful experience and failure lesson to implement CMM and put forward some conductive suggestions to software companies in our country.
