Abstract

Dielectric permittivity measurements because of its aviation and aerospace, new materials research , satellite remote sensing , and microwave communications and other aspects are closely related and cause more and more people 's attention. Measuring the dielectric constant in many ways, through the extensive literature research, this paper sorted out the general method of measuring the dielectric constant and dielectric microwave measurement method . In this paper, the use of microwave cavity perturbation method to measure self-designed rectangular microwave cavity , the formation of experimental system , a variety of media measurement. Experiment was repeated on the same sample , the results show that the experimental system has good stability , thus proving the use of rectangular cavity perturbation measure the dielectric constant has good application prospects. Using Matlab language computer software for its measurement data processing, and prepared a virtual experimental procedures, Matlab language not only improve the application level , and virtual experiments combined with the actual experiment , to better understanding and knowledge of cavity perturbation measuring the dielectric constant.
