Abstract

Engine connecting rod connecting rod pyrolysis technology as a new technology, the traditional process of major change rod , has become a national level of engine connecting rod manufacturing industry an important symbol . In this thesis, completed the following work : new cracker for C70S6 steel rod materials, means of finite element numerical simulation , combined with the rod tensile test , predicted the C70S6 steel J-integral threshold. For small and medium heavy-duty gasoline and diesel engine connecting rod in a quasi- static cracking numerical simulation analysis , through the connecting rod from the slot before crack crack tip stress contours for analysis, given the linkage cleavage fracture surface crack branching occurs even dregs etc. the main reason for quality problems , and with the rod tensile test for numerical simulation results were validated . Through numerical simulation analysis, the results of the pre-crack groove angle , radius of curvature of the groove depth on cracking force and geometry factors affecting curve parameters were calculated for each geometric shape factor . The effects of back pressure on the rod cracking were investigated , predicted cleavage during processing small rod reasonable back pressure range. The results show that the stress concentration back pressure to make the link more significant , from a single point of cracking , which will help to improve the quality of cleavage . The rod cracking transient finite element analysis showed that the inertial forces on the connecting rod little effect separation force , increasing the inertia forces help to improve the quality of cracking . Through research, given the initial cracking defects resulting link the main reason for the improvement in the quality of the link to provide a basis cracking . Slot of each parameter on the crack research links cracking equipment, technical parameters , the rational design of pre-crack groove cracking process to determine the parameters and lay the foundation for the promotion of linkage cleavage processing industry in the country has a positive effect .
