Abstract

Heart failure is the end stage of the development of heart disease . Its high incidence , morbidity and mortality rates are also higher , and a serious threat to human health . Heart failure is becoming an important public health problem in the 21st century . Therefore, its basic and clinical research is particularly important . A variety of causes of chronic pressure / volume overload or primary myocardial damage will eventually lead to heart failure . Heart failure usually go through three stages : the initial hemodynamic changes secondary to myocardial compensatory hypertrophy the final myocardial decompensation and heart failure . By the hypertrophy of myocardial cells in the early stages of the development of the disease , the heart to adapt to the ever-increasing workload , improve contractile function of myocardial cells favor the short term , in order to maintain normal heart function . With the extension of the course , the work load increased by more than the increase in systolic function , heart by compensatory transferred to the decompensated stage on to develop heart failure . The continued decline in the contractile function of the failing heart , myocardial apoptosis , fibrosis , ventricular dilatation , its pumping function can not meet the needs of the body's blood supply , eventually leading to heart failure . The compensatory hypertrophy to heart failure development and changes in the process of a large number of studies , but the mechanism leading to heart failure has not been fully elucidated . Previous studies show that the process of cardiac hypertrophy concomitant cardiac myocyte contractile function change , possible heart function reduced process plays an important role . Other studies have also prompted apoptosis leads to sustained reduction in the number of myocardial cells , may be involved in the transformation of decompensated cardiac hypertrophy by compensatory aptitude . Therefore, the relationship between the systolic function to clarify the hypertrophy of myocardial cells , apoptosis , and heart failure is particularly important .
